Remember when Amy Poehler first appeared on Saturday Night Live? I do, and I remember thinking that I was not a huge fan. With the exception of a few sketches that she did I thought she was too over the top. Amy, I'm sorry that I misjudged you. Parks and Recreation is probably my favorite show and that is largely due to the comedic stylings of Amy Poehler. She's hilariously witty and I couldn't imagine an actress better suited for the role of Leslie Knope. This is not to say that the rest of the cast isn't equally funny. Each and every character (except Ann, not a fan) makes me laugh. The show is well written and thoroughly entertaining. If you don't watch Parks and Rec you have to start now. You won't regret it. On a side note Amy was named one of Time Magazine's top 100 influence people this year and the photo above is from the article, doesn't she look fabulous?
