Summer Reading

No more school, which means no required reading. I took a literature class this semester and we read six novels. Some were good, some were so-so and some were flat out boring. I really enjoyed the class though, it pushed me to read books that I wouldn't have picked off the shelf otherwise. Now that it's summer I'm  really excited to do some reading of my choosing. Right now I have a few pages left in this book...

This was a book that I kept picking up in bookstores and adding to my mental list of 'must reads'. Over half way done and it's not what I expected but it's a quick read and pretty enjoyable. Would I recommend it? Maybe, but know that it's not my favorite.

Next I plan on reading this book...

I'm borrowing my sister's copy. She recommended it to me and my mom just finished reading it tonight and after I finish Girls in Trucks  I plan on starting this novel. Also they are making it into a movie which looks pretty good...

So I might give it a read. I'm interested in any other reading suggestions. Have any of you read something good lately or perhaps have a favorite book that you've read over and over? I'd love to hear your recommendations.
