You may be wondering what Donald Draper is raising his glass for. Well I'll tell you, I turned the big 21 on Sunday. And no I did not celebrate by sharing a drink with old Don here but I did celebrate with my boyfriend and my family. I'm not big on the idea of bar hopping and lots of partying (not to mention that almost none of my friends are 21 yet). So a mellow brunch with mimosas and opening gifts with family was fine by me. Then later at night we went out to dinner at a restaurant called Porterhouse and I ordered my first legal drink, I decided to keep it classy and go with a martini. My best friend's birthday is just 5 days after mine so this Friday we are celebrating our birthdays together with our boyfriends and going out for drinks and a nice dinner, which I've been looking forward to for a while now. It should be fun!

So glad you had a great birthday! I totally agree with you about the whole partying thing, it's really not all it's cracked up to be, but fun to do every once in a while. Have a great time with your boy!
