Busy, Busy, Busy

It's been such a long time since my last post that this is almost a foreign feeling to me. My life has been busy and hectic (as busy as Lucy is making herself in this picture) and I feel like I haven't had the energy to post anything.

First off, as it always does, school has kept me very busy. I don't think I've even mentioned on my blog yet that I'm at a new college working to get my associate's degree in massage therapy. Since I transferred in a bunch of credits the end is in sight. Less than a year left (year round classes that is).

Although you would think that since we get to practice massages on each other that I would be super relaxed all of the time, but I can't remember the last time I've felt relaxed. For about a month I've had some on going health problems. I've gone to the doctor five times and they have diagnosed me but I have to wait a long time until I can get in to see a specialist. My condition is not life threatening, thankfully, but it hasn't been easy to manage nonetheless. I'm hoping that after I see the specialist I can be back on track to normal health again. It's limited how much I can work, it's made giving massages to be a more taxing task than normal and it just has be plain worn out.

I've been trying really hard to look at the positives in my life right now because sometimes all I can see are the negatives.

The positives:

~My niece just got confirmed yesterday (I can't believe that she's already that old!)
~My boyfriend will be taking his finals this week which means he'll be on summer break and that makes planning to see each other a little bit easier
~I have a wonderful supportive family who cares about me and has been my support
~I had a great Friday night with my best friend, dinner and a movie
~The weather is finally warming up, supposed to be in the 70's this week

So this is my life in a nutshell right now. Things haven't been easy but I'm hoping and praying that things get back to normal again soon.
